60 The Collective

Thursday night’s show was unique in WalkWay history.  Agent and curator Frankie Velez and the WalkWay Director, Craig Anthony Miller, came together to produce an exhibition titled “60 The Collective”.   This was a holiday show and had on display over 60 New York City artists that created one-of-a-kind works on a 12″x12″ format.  A visual flavor for the crowd to feast their eyes upon was on the menu as studio and street artists, photographers and cross platform creators came together.  I was proud to be a part of this grand exhibition of New York’s finest, fine artists.

The opening was a great success.  The crowd began forming before the start of the show and when I arrived, the gallery was teaming with good-energy people, flashing lights of photo after photo being taken and the sounds of DJ Ana Toledo.  I had the chance to talk to old friends, meet new ones and always appreciate the kind words people freely express about the work put into Fumeroism.  It was an amazing job by both curators and artists for giving the public an eye full.

The show runs for 3 weeks at reBar, 147 Front Street, DUMBO Brooklyn
