Black Tap - Miami
Black Tap Burgers and Beer has expanded to Brickell, Miami and I had the honor to Fumeroize it with the Grafstract. Located inside, so to speak, because the Brickle City Center Mall is a beautiful, open-air shoppers’ paradise with exhilarating breezes flowing through its three outdoor levels. Walk toward the theatre and before you arrive at the restaurant you’ll see the glow of Fumeroism Yellow illuminating from the exterior mural of Brickle through the reflection of the Sunglasses.
The iconic Black Tap interior design as seen in all of their restaurants around the world with the black and white decor motifs and American pop music from the 80s and 90s creating the cool vibe that makes it a fun place to eat and drink their special menu items.
The interior mural in the main dinning room is of a hand holding a cassette tape and boom-box motifs referencing 1980’s pop culture music. The BTMIA mixed-tape and the radio are entwined into the mural’s grafstracted background.
It was an honor to be the muralist to paint my 7th Black Tap project. The first BT was in 2016 Broome St. , 2017 Ludlow St. (both NYC), The Venetian Hotel Casino , Las Vegas, 2017, Kuwait City, Kuwait and Dubai, UAE, 2018 , Herald Square NYC 2019, Dallas 2023 and Miami, 2024. It’s been great working with Black Tap, we work well together and look forward to coming the fumeroizing Black Tap tradition.
A special thank you to Cecile Herrera for her photo contributions
